Locke throws Gale back in the armory. Ana and co find a balloon and a grave. the loudspeaker in the hatch comes on but is muffled. The blast doors in the hatch come down. Locke wedges a crowbar in. Jack, Sawyer, Hurley and Kate are playing cards. Jacks wins.
In the flashback we see that Locke's dad faked his death to get away from thugs he owed money to. Locke's girlfriend Herlen finds out and leaves him.
Locke lets Gale out of the armory and they try to get the blast door back up. Locke ends up with it smashing his leg and is trapped. He sends Gale through the air vent to push the button. The Alarm is going off. Suddenly everything stops, the lights go off, blacklights come on and we see there is a map written on the blast door.
Kate and Jack take a walk and find shipping pallets with DHARMA food on them. Gale comes back to Locke and helps him move once the blast doors go back up. Jack, Ana and Sayid enter the hatch and let everyone know, they found a balloon, its just like the one on the food they all just found. Sayid also tells him how they dug up the grave they found and there was a man iside with an ID that says Henry Gale.
