Sawyer tells Jack that he loves Kate. Kate cares for Sawyer while the rest of camp buries Shannon.
In the flashback we learn that Kate's lousy abusive drunkard step-dad is actually her real dad. Her big crime was she blew up their house with him in it.
Sawyer starts speaking as said dead guy and Kate freaks out and runs away. Jack goes to find her and they kiss before she takes off again.Locke shows Micheal around the hatch, he and Eko watch the DHARMAfilm. Eko reveals he has the missing splices from the film. They add them, and then watch it again. Sawyer comes to and Kate takes him for a walk while Jack and Ana share a drink. Micheal gets a message on the computer.
