Arzt tells them the weather will not hold up, ythat they need to launch the raft now or not bother.Kate decides she wants to go on the raft. Sayid takes Jack out to meet Locke at the hatch. Sawyer confronts Kate about trying to steal his spot on the raft. She says she'll make it happen. Micheal gets sick.
In the flashback, we learn Kates mom is sick. She goes to visit her and her mom yells for security. Her childhood sweetie Tom helps her escape and is shot and killed in the process.
Jack examines Micheal and concludes someone drugged his water. Hurley lets it slip in front of Locke that Kate's a fugitive. Claire gives Charlie a haircut. Locke asks walt if he tried to poison his dad. Walt touches Locke's hand, freaks out and begs him not to open the hatch. Micheal; kicks Sawyer off the raft so Sawyer tells everyone Kate's secret and keeps his spot. Jack figures out Sun drugged the water intending it for Jin. Walt admits to his dad that he burned the first raft.
