Well this one was pretty intense, and graphic too. real tearjerker!
We open on Sawyer talking to Hurley who has found parts of the ping pong table. Sawyer snubs some guy named Paulo for taking things from his stash. Paulo lectures him on sharing.
Locke, Kate, and Sayid go for a hike and find a shack with various animals and a guy with an eyepatch.
Sawyer produces a ping pong ball and tries to bet everyone on his playing to get his stuff back. Hurley and co agree, insisting that if they win, Sawyer is not allowed to call anyone nicknames for a week.
Danielle tells Locke Kate and Sayid that she doesnt know anything about the shack.
In the flashback we see Sayid with a fake name in the Kitchen of a resteraunt. A waiter sends him to talk to a customer who enjoyed his food. The man offers Sayid a job cooking for him saying his chef just quit.
The eyepatch man shoots and hits Sayid. Kate and Locke get his gun and begin questioning him while dragging Sayid inside the shack. The man, Miknhail says he is a former Russian soldier who wanted to do good in his life so he answered a newspaper ad and joined the DHARMA initiative. Locke begins playing with the nearby computer while Mikhail treats Sayid and tells him DHARMA had created an island war an were obliterated. He said afterwards people showed up and offered to leave him alone if he never left his lil patch of land.
In another flashback, we see Sayid arriving at the resteraunt. The man introduces Sayid to his wife who then IDs him.
Locke begins playing chess while Mikhail talks to Sayid about his cat. Mikhail goes to make tea while Kate and Sayid decide hes an other.
Sawyer and Hurley play Ping Pong.
Kate, Sayid and mikhail have tea. Sayid interrogates him until everyone goes crazy.
In the flashback we see Sayid chained to a floor. The resteraunt man is screaming accusing Sayid of torturing his wife. The man tells him he will kill him slowly if he does not admit what he did to her.
Locke and Sayid discuss Mikhail being an other. They find a trap door.
In the flashback, Sayid gets beat on.
Kate and Sayid explore the shack's basement while Locke returns to playing chess. Sayid discovers the basement is rigged with explosives. Locke wins the chess game when Mikhail getting loose, has snuck up behind him and pulled a knife. Kate gets attacked by Ms Klugh whom Sayid takes hostage. They walk outside where Mikhail has a gun to Locke's head. There is lots of shouting and talking in Russian and the Mikhail shoots Klugh dead.Sayid attacks him.
On the beach, Hurley gives Sawyer back some of his Magazines,. Sawyer mopes about losing and stalks off.
Locke is again at the computer. While Sayid marches Mikhail out calling for Danielle. Sayid shows her a map and Mikhails tries to goad them into killing him.
In the flashback we see Sayid broken, admitting to the woman that he tortured her. She says she will have her husband turn him out because she does not want to be a monster.
Danielle and Sayid argue over killing Mikhail. Locke walks up and the shack explodez. The group sets off through the jungle.
